Please note that these are considered clinical-grade treatments, and are more much more aggressive than superficial "Spa" peels. Each peel product varies in strength from light/medium-depth, to more aggressive peels which involve greater down time. Individual protocol will be determined at time of consultation. In most cases, a series of 6 or more treatments is recommended at 4 week intervals, along with appropriate at~home maintenance for optimum results.
Please be advised that common side effects may include temporary erythema (redness), tightness, irritation and increased sensitivity for 2-7 days post-treatment. Use of tretinoin (Retin-A), retinols, glycolic acid, fruit acid, salicylic acid or any other acid-based or exfoliating products should be ceased 5 days pre-and-post treatment. Accutane should be eliminated 6 months prior to any peeling treatment. Sun exposure should be avoided 3 days pre-and-post treatment. Use of a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 UVA/UVB protection at all times is imperative!
The available clinical-grade peels are as follows:
Mandelic Acid Peel: A light-depth peel for sensitive skin types that do not tolerate glycolic acids well. Contra-indications: allergies to almonds; pregnancy.
Lacti~Blend Peel (aka Morgan Peel): A medium-depth peel combination peel of 35% glycolic Acid and 7% Salicylic Acid. For Normal/Dry skin types. Contra-indications: allergies to milk products and aspirin; pregnancy.
Lacti~Bright Peel: A more aggressive combination peel of 45% Lactic Acid and 2% Hydroquinone. For Normal/Dry skin types. Contra-indications: allergies to milk products; pregnancy.
Glycolic Acid Peel: A buffered, light-depth peel of 20-30% to assist in skin rejuvenation for most skin types to address both Anti-Aging as well as Acneic concerns. Contra-indications: Allergies to sugar cane; pregnancy.
Glyco~Blend Peel (aka Baker Peel): A medium-depth combination peel of 35% Glycolic acid and 7%Salicylic Acid. For oily/acneic to Normal/Oily skin types. Contra-indications: allergies to sugar cane, strawberries, and aspirin; pregnancy.
Glyco~Bright Peel: A more aggressive combination peel of 45% Glycolic Acid and 2% Hydroquinone. For Normal/Oily skin types. Contra-indications: allergies to sugar cane and strawberries; pregnancy.
Lite Jessner's Peel: A more aggressive combination peel of Salicylic Acid, Resorcinol, and Lactic Acid. For Normal/Oily to Normal/Dry skin types. Contra-indications: allergies to aspirin; infections, pregnancy.
Low-ammonia, organic dyeing procedure, safe for use around eye area. Takes only 15 minutes and lasts for up to 4 weeks.

Contraindications: Waxing cannot be performed on clients taking Accutane or Retin A, Renova, Differin or other types of skin~thinning acne or exfoliatiing medications. Use of any exfoliating products should be ceased for 2 weeks pre-and-post treatment. Sun exposure should be avoided 3 days pre-and-post treatment.

Heated Mitt Hand Treatment
Deep conditions skin, nails and cuticles, as well as relieving joint pain and stiffness. For added benefit, paraffin~coated hands are placed into thermal heated mitts for approximately 20 minutes. A wonderful treatment for arthritis or fibromyalgia conditions! Recommended every 2~4 weeks for optimum results. A great add~on to one of our facial treatments!
