Our Founder and Practitioners . . .

Deborah A. McGarry is Founder and President of Dermal~Care Esthetics & Wellness Centre. Born and raised in a suburb of New York City, she is a Medical Esthetician/Aesthetic Rehabilitation Specialist with over 25 years experience in the clinical skin care and cosmetics industry. 

Ms. McGarry has held licensing and/or certification in Esthetics in the states of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Florida, and Oklahoma. Her initial Esthetics License was obtained at Boca Beauty Academy of Boca Raton, Florida.

Deborah's advanced training as a Medical Esthetician, coupled with additional formal education in the field of psychology attained at State University of New York, has enabled her to specialize in work with burn survivors, trauma victims, cancer patients, post-operative conditions, and congenital abnormalities afflicting one's appearance. She has worked with several prominent dermatolgists, plastic surgeons, hospital-based burn and rehabilitation centers throughout the eastern seaboard and midwest, assisting those affected in coping with, and adjusting to, conditions that may result in a wide variety of physical and/or emotional disabilities.

In addition to maintaining her current clinical skin care practice since 2006, Deborah also served for three years as Skin Care Educator for the Florida Health Academy's 260-hour Facial Specialist Licensing program.

Ms. McGarry takes a holistic approach by analyzing an individual's entire lifestyle as part of a treatment plan, incorporating product application, wellness counseling, image enhancement, and social rehabilitative support.  By recognizing the emotional and psychological needs of individuals so affected, the condition is at the very least, minimized, thereby enhancing the client's self-esteem and confidence. 

Gary Priolo, Sr., VP of Marketing, brings 10 years retail management and marketing skills to our centre. A native of New York City, Mr. Priolo has been instrumental in our recent services expansion into a comprehensive Holistic Wellness Facility.

As a retired US Army First Sargeant, Mr. Priolo keeps us all on our toes!

 

Dr. Bonnie Heidel, CST, L.Ac, DOM. Board Cerified Primary Care Physician, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Clinical Nutrition.

A native of Louisiana, Dr. Heidel is an honors graduate from the East West College of Natural Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate premedical training from the University of South Alabama at Mobile.

She has more than 16 years of clinical experience in pain, weight and age management; cosmetic acupuncture and functional medicine-with post graduate at the TCM University in Beijing, China.

Dr. Heidel is a tremendous asset to our Wellness Centre, and shares with us her expertise in Cosmetic Acupuncture, Dermal Filler Injectable Therapy, Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy, Chronic Pain Management, and The Deepak Chopra Method of Therapeutic Meditation.

Vijole Ketay, Licensed Massage Therapist. A native of Lithuania, Vijole moved to Naples from Europe and graduated from the Florida Health Academy in Naples as a Massage Therapist.

Deep Tissue is the predominant type of massage she provides. Other massage therapies offered by Vijole include Swedish, Pregnancy, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone and Neuro Muscular.  

                                                                                                                                                           
Barbara Schaffer, Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Facial Specialist, Aromatherapist, Herbologist. A native of Brazil, Ms.Schaffer has attained a reputation in Naples as an expert in all-over body grooming, including Brazilian waxing for both men and women. In addition, she offers us her talent as Massage Therapist, specializing in Sports Massage work for golfers.

 


Irene Lewis, Licensed Facial Specialist/ Reiki Practitioner.  A native of New Jersey, Ms. Lewis' lifelong passion in nurturing has brought her to the practice of Esthetics. She received her Esthetics license at the Florida Health Academy and has studied yoga and worked at the Crystal Path Wellness Center in New Jersey where she obtained her Reiki certification.  She has acquired the comforting aspects of this hands-on healing system in order to assist her clients in achieving a rebalancing effect and contentment.  

Irene's love of herbs and plants and the healing power of nature have brought her to realize that harmony and balance contributes to the wellness for preventative aging. Her interest in the therapeutic properties of crystals and gemstones is an added modality into her practice. She shares with us her field of specialty within the areas of Holistic/Spa Facials and Reiki.
